Midnight Court Fae Ball – Costume Contest Rules

Let your fae spirit shine! Join our magical Costume Contest and dazzle the court. Please read the following rules carefully:

Contest Categories:

  • Best Fae Royalty (Queen, King, Monarch, etc.)

  • Best Seelie Look (Light, elegant, nature-inspired)

  • Best Unseelie Look (Dark, mysterious, shadowy beauty)

  • Best Couple or Group Costume

Rules:

  1. All costumes must be fantasy-themed and suitable for an enchanted forest setting—think fae, elves, goblins, dryads, pixies, and beyond!

  2. No real weapons or dangerous props are allowed. Foam and decorative replicas are fine.

  3. Respectful representation is required. Avoid culturally insensitive or inappropriate attire.

  4. You must register for the contest by 7:00 PM at the front desk near the ballroom entrance. Or Register Online.

  5. Judging will begin at 9:30 PM sharp.

  6. Costumes will be judged based on creativity, craftsmanship, theme accuracy, and overall presentation.

  7. All ages are welcome! Be sure to enter the appropriate category.

  8. Prizes will be awarded at 11:30 PM.

Bonus Points For:

  • Handmade or custom-crafted pieces

  • Glowing, sparkling, or interactive elements

  • Staying in character while presenting your look
